Biography:

I graduated from the American University of Beirut with a B.E. degree from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department in 1996.I joined the Lebanese army for military service as a Lieutenant in the Medical Brigade as head of medical engineering workshop. I worked in local companies and had many Biomedical trainings in medical imaging (CT Scanner, Ultrasound and digital xray), monitoring, lithotripsy, and ventilation from Siemens, Storz Medical, Puritan Bennett, and Shimadzu. With Puritan Bennett I served as technical support for Tunisia and Algeria.

In 2016 I was enrolled at the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC) as a Clinical Biomedical Engineer. I am responsible for Critical Care areas (ICU, CCU, NICU, PICU, NUICU…), Operation Room, Ophthalmology department, Respiratory Labs, ENT department…. I was part of the team who transferred the medical center to a paperless hospital using “EPIC”.
