Dr. Mohammed Laouacheria is a veterinarian and pet surgery specialist who joined Stars of Science in Season 15. With a strong passion for animal health and innovative solutions, Dr. Mohammed has dedicated his career to merging veterinary medicine with technology to address challenges in livestock and agriculture.

About the Project

During Stars of Science, Dr. Mohammed developed a wearable device to monitor the health of cows. This innovative project aimed to provide early detection of illnesses, improve animal welfare, and support farmers in ensuring better productivity and sustainable livestock management. His invention showcased the power of integrating veterinary expertise with modern technology to create impactful solutions.

Dr. Mohammed’s project drew attention to the role of technology in transforming livestock health management. By offering farmers a practical tool to safeguard their animals, the innovation highlighted how science can directly support food security and sustainability. Beyond the program, his work continues to inspire young Arab innovators to explore bold ideas at the intersection of science, technology, and agriculture.

Impact

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Mohammad is working on several groundbreaking initiatives, including:

• An AI-powered project to diagnose microscopic samples, particularly in the field of parasites — a challenging endeavor due to limited resources and working without a team.
   
• A sustainable organic fertilizer project derived from animal waste.
   
• A pioneering fish and shrimp feed project — the first of its kind in Qatar — aimed at providing innovative and sustainable solutions for aquaculture.

For Dr. Mohammad, Stars of Science was more than a competition — it was a defining journey. He describes it as “a railway track” that sets participants on the right path, after which their ambition takes them as far as they wish to go. He values the program as a true family that continues to follow and support its alumni long after the show.

Through his projects, Dr. Mohammad strives to drive real change in agri-tech and veterinary innovation in the region. His message to young Arab innovators is clear: imagination fuels progress, and daring to dream is the first step toward achievement.
