Power banks are essential tools in our digital age, ensuring our devices stay charged on the go. However, traditional power banks often take longer to recharge than the devices they power, becoming more of a burden than an asset. Riadh's Hybrid Power Bank addresses this issue by combining the high storage of lithium-ion batteries with the rapid charging abilities of supercapacitors, allowing it to recharge in just minutes. This invention is especially vital as devices, with the advent of 5G and background apps, drain power faster. Beyond everyday use, the Hybrid Power Bank is invaluable for professionals, from photographers to doctors and journalists, ensuring they remain connected and charged in their demanding environments.
The Aftermath of SoS
Riadh founded his deeptech startup, HYTAKA (هاي طاقة in Arabic), in Paris in April 2022. Focusing on the intersection of IT, energy, and utilities, HYTAKA offers consultancy in these sectors. Additionally, the startup's R&D endeavors are centered around the development of Riadh's innovative product, HyPow, which gained prominence in the 13th season of "Stars of Science."
Although currently the sole permanent member of HYTAKA, Riadh collaborates with a talented group of freelance engineers dedicated to bringing HyPow to life. Their commitment and expertise have culminated in the creation of a second, more optimized version of HyPow. This new iteration is scheduled for testing with a prominent European organization by the end of the year.
Riadh and his team eagerly await feedback on the patent currently under review for HyPow. Looking ahead, the ambitious entrepreneur has set his sights on the upcoming year, planning to showcase HYTAKA and HyPow at various technology conferences. His primary objective is to catch the eye of potential investors and secure the funds necessary to propel his startup to greater heights.
