Mohammad Kassem Zein received his Bachelor of Science in Computer and Communications Engineering – Emphasis on Mechatronics, with distinction, from the American University of Science and Technology in 2017. After that, he joined the Vision and Robotics Lab at the American University of Beirut where he received his Masters of Engineering in Robotics in 2020. His thesis focused on enhancing the teleoperation of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles using Machine Learning and Augmented Reality, and he was involved in several robotics and AI projects including Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM). He has several publications in the top robotics venue according to google scholar. Mohammad is currently working as an AI engineer at Oreyeon LDA where he is leading the development and deployment of computer vision solutions to solve the Foregin Object Debris problem in the aviation industry. His technical interests include: Deployable AI, Computer Vision, Robotics, and SLAM.
